Workshop for Pest Management Professionals.

Reserve the date, Tuesday 11 July 2017, for an opportunity that doesn’t come round very often.

As part of the International Conference on Urban Pests (ICUP), to be held 9-12 July 2017 at Aston University in Birmingham, UK, there will be a special one-day workshop for pest management professionals.

This will focus on the more control-based research and is an innovation designed to appeal to practical pest controllers. Of course, full delegates will also be welcome as it is included in the full delegate fee.

For practical pest controllers who can’t, or don’t want, to attend the full scientific conference it is an opportunity to take part in ICUP, meet many of the leading researchers and scientists in our industry and hear from experts on a range of topics and all for a great value price of just £197. You can reserve your place now online.

Conference Chair Matthew Davies says: “The chance to attend a conference of this calibre, on one’s doorstep, is an opportunity not to be passed up. The last time ICUP came to the UK was 1996, so these chances do not come around very often.”

Designed with the more practical members of the professional pest control community in mind, the one-day workshop dedicated to control-based topics has a strong grounding in good science – the best of both worlds! It will be chaired by the highly respected David Oldbury (NPAP CIEH). Half hour presentations will be given on subjects ranging from rodenticides to bed bugs, from mice to pigeons and mosquitoes. There will also be a session on a unique study on insects in homes as well as on international pest management credentialing.

This workshop is especially attractive to those in the UK and Ireland pest management industry and will attract a number of CPD points for members of BASIS PROMPT. Furthermore, a convenient and inexpensive overnight stay in the comfortable and modern Aston University student accommodation can be added to the booking, as well as parking and the conference dinner.
